About
ReHistory is an online source for multimedia social studies resources designed to encourage critical thinking and collaboration.
Our mission is to empower young children by giving them tools they can use to investigate and deconstruct false narratives that remain popular in American social studies curricula.
For decades, American school students have been subjected to interpretations of history that do not include the voices of women, people of color, poor people, and the LGBT+ community.
We believe it is necessary to feature histories and perspectives from marginalized communities; not only to share more full contexts for understanding the past, but also to enable solidarity for the future.
